Moms Against Climate Change have not only produced an excellent video which you can see above, but an awesome website at http://www.takeactiononclimatechange.com/. On the site, you can upload a picture of your child to remind Canada’s prime minister who he is fighting for at the UN Summit on Climate Change in December.

So the police are there to force children to buy a lot of stuff and keep their carbon footprints big? Cops are required to protect corporations’ stinking, polluting productions of all that stuff, which has nothing to do with what anyone buys?
The bottom line is the consumer and the power of one. It adds up. For example, if no one bought Coca-Cola for a day because of all the trashed bottles and cans, the company would feel it. If no one bought it for a month, the company would get on the 100% recycling bandwagon. If they didn’t, and no one bought it for a few more months, it would cease to exist.
We have that power. Get kids to use it, not run headlong into the consumer-monster that is, in fact, in each of them, not in the cops or state or corporations.
Very powerful. I love the web site -all those photos of kids. That should shame the politicians into action.
