While I err on the side of any organic cream being good for my eyes, there is some argument for the fact that the skin around the eyes is more delicate, particularly as you get older. For ladies who have been forced to examine their faces more than usual during the aftermath of those holiday parties, here are some eye creams that can give your lids a lift, naturally.

Dr. Kadir Rainforest Eye Cream – Israel
This stuff is made in France by a company from Israel. Very scientifically put together and certified by Eco-Cert, whose certification is arguably more strict than any North American skincare certification.

Daily Revitalizing Eye Cream by Dr. Hauschka
Dr. Hauschka isn’t just for Derek Zoolander. It is possibly one of the most organic skin care companies in the world, and has been so since it threw open its doors. The price, however, is a bit scary to mere mortals. The chick in the video is probably rocking a serious credit limit.

More Organic Eye Creams Than You Can Handle

Variety is the spice of life. There is something on this page for every eye of every income bracket.

I have been using Dr Hauschka products for years now and find all their products worth their price. However, I don’t think they cost the earth and are certaintly cheaper than many other natural brands. The key to using the products are to use a ‘little’. Most people seem to think that you need to use a lot every time but this is not so. I little is enough to be effective and you can overdo it and also the look if you are heavy handed. Definitely recommend.

I have been using the Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer (from Made from Earth) and after one month of daily use, here is my verdict: This stuff works. It’s not magic, it’s not a miracle, it doesn’t transform every wrinkle and age spot. But it makes your skin look BETTER than before, which is all we can really hope for, isn’t it?

I’ve noticed a somewhat dramatic change in the fine lines around my eyes (no, I don’t use a separate eye cream). They are smoother and much less noticeable. The few age spots I’ve developed seem to be lighter. Overall, looking at my face in the mirror now, I sometimes have to do a double-take because my skin looks so much better and brighter. The permanent dark circles under my eyes are even lighter.

I have acne prone skin and I was nervous about using a new moisturizer, but quickly found that my skin actually CLEARED UP while using this product. Likely, it was due to my regimented focus on skin care in general, but this did NOT contribute to any breakouts at all. Highly recommend the Made from Earth line if you are looking for solutions.

I’ve been using Dr Hauschka for complete skin care for about 5 months now. I have very sensitive skin and I have tried about 10 different brands over the years. I was introduced to Dr Hauschka by a friend who swears by them. I too was very apprehensive about trying them because of their price. Yes, it’s totally worth it, but let us not forget what we have at our fingertips: The Internet. I looked for an online retailer for hours and then discovered this one Canadian website that carries the entire line of Dr. Hauschka products (among other high profile brands) and sell them for *much* less than what you would pay for in health stores. Don’t be fooled by their old-fashioned website design (it’s pretty dated), I have ordered from them about 5 times now and am NEVER dissapointed. They often have sales too. Shuu, don’t tell anyone though ;) It’s: http://www.eskincarestore.com/
