I have been using Dr Hauschka products for years now and find all their products worth their price. However, I don’t think they cost the earth and are certaintly cheaper than many other natural brands. The key to using the products are to use a ‘little’. Most people seem to think that you need to use a lot every time but this is not so. I little is enough to be effective and you can overdo it and also the look if you are heavy handed. Definitely recommend.
I have been using the Vitamin Enhanced Moisturizer (from Made from Earth) and after one month of daily use, here is my verdict: This stuff works. It’s not magic, it’s not a miracle, it doesn’t transform every wrinkle and age spot. But it makes your skin look BETTER than before, which is all we can really hope for, isn’t it?
I’ve noticed a somewhat dramatic change in the fine lines around my eyes (no, I don’t use a separate eye cream). They are smoother and much less noticeable. The few age spots I’ve developed seem to be lighter. Overall, looking at my face in the mirror now, I sometimes have to do a double-take because my skin looks so much better and brighter. The permanent dark circles under my eyes are even lighter.
I have acne prone skin and I was nervous about using a new moisturizer, but quickly found that my skin actually CLEARED UP while using this product. I’ve been using Dr Hauschka for complete skin care for about 5 months now. I have very sensitive skin and I have tried about 10 different brands over the years. I was introduced to Dr Hauschka by a friend who swears by them. I too was very apprehensive about trying them because of their price. Yes, it’s totally worth it, but let us not forget what we have at our fingertips: The Internet. I looked for an online retailer for hours and then discovered this one Canadian website that carries the entire line of Dr. Hauschka products (among other high profile brands) and sell them for *much* less than what you would pay for in health stores. Don’t be fooled by their old-fashioned website design (it’s pretty dated), I have ordered from them about 5 times now and am NEVER dissapointed. They often have sales too.
