Apple plans on producing its namesake at its newly designed headquarters, as well as other eco-friendly additions. The stunning building is being designed in a circle and is reminiscent of the sleek design of Apple’s products. The fruit orchard will be contained on the inside of the ring and employees will be able to pick and eat 11 different varieties of apples as well as plums and apricots. Solar panels will be used to power the massive building along with its own natural gas-based generator, with the public power grid only being used as necessary. CEO Tim Cook has also recently made efforts to clean up Apple’s Chinese production and move production of some components back to the United States.
