Be Careful That Your Rubber Doesn’t Break!

Note to self;  Next time I am in Zimbabwe, don’t let someone push me off a bridge with yarn attached to my feet.  This is a prime example of why I prefer to stay home and watch stuff like this on youtube, rather than get out there and fight crocodiles for tanning bed space…

Bungee cords are traditionally made from rubber, and can be compiled of synthetic or natural rubber.  This is a prime example of synthetic latex in action, snapping when you need it the most.  This is exactly why we at Essentia use natural latex to ensure the best support and longevity.

I believe the moral of this story is that Essentia needs to start making bungee cords…

If you are living in the bay area, you have more than a gazillion choices when shopping for pretty much any item.  One way you can help the environment and reward others that do the same is to shop at Bay Area Green Businesses.  These are companies that have gone through a rigorous application and certification process, and have been verified by the county to be as environmentally conscious as you can get.

While a lot of companies could change some of their business practices to meet the standard, you will be happy to know that Essentia Berkeley exceeded the standard just by being us.  We are officially a Bay Area Green Business and proud of it!
