One of our most precious natural resources is our water.  The UK Sun newspaper published the results of an investigation into the operations of Starbucks today, revealing major environmental waste.  Due to a policy of keeping the water running in order to discourage germ buildup in taps, Starbucks wastes enough water to fill an Olympic swimming pool once every 83 minutes.
