I just finished reading “Stirring It Up”, the story of the founding and business growth of Stonyfield Farms.  The book was written by its founder, Gary Hirshberg.  Hirshberg and others founded Stonyfield on the principle of keeping business green and keeping the standards high for the taste of the yogurt.  They correctly assumed that this business model would attract a cadre of devoted customers and right they were – Stonyfield Farms is one of the biggest success stories in green business.  I’d highly recommend the book to any business owner, not just someone with a “green” business.
