Waste Management, Inc. has sponsored an exhibit at the EPCOT center in Walt Disney World in Florida which “educates” children about waste management. Some of the sins that this exhibit commits include:

• excessive greenwashing of the incineration process
• unsubstantiated claims of power-savings through waste management processes
• promoting consumerism in order to generate more waste
• downplaying the accumulation of harmful gasses at landfills
• excessive use of “green” language without corresponding content in the exhibit
