Representatives of Baha’i Faith, Buddhism, Christianity, Daoism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Shintoism, and Sikhism all met with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and HRH The Prince Philip. Their goal was to present their plans for climate change which emphasized the role that religions can take in combating climate change and forming “peace with the planet”.
Thirty-one separate plans were handed in, representing most of the faiths on the planet. The tenets of each particular faith dictate some of the components of each plan, but their collective end goal is the same. More on the historic meeting at the Bahai World News Service.

The Churches should check their stock portfolio’s and make sure they are all green. That ought to have an impact. How are the Christian’s making out with the Southern United States? I know the Southern Baptist’s has been a progessive force for years.
