The U.S. has always been behind on its rail system. Cities like San Francisco an New York have the Bart and Subway system but there has yet to be an expansive system that goes faster than the speed limit on a highway.
This is until now, California will see the U.S.’s first high speed rail system connecting San Francisco to Los Angeles and eventually further north and south. Now as bullet trains are fast, making them isn’t. The project will take billions of dollars and at least a decade to complete.
Once it’s complete, it will be able to take you 400 miles in just over 2 hours. This is really big news, the lack of a high-speed rail has handicapped the U.S. for years and now that California is onboard, hopefully others will soon adopt!
