Coke and WWF Care for the Polar Bear!

Who is trying to make a difference with the reality we are facing… Debates put aside about Global Warming, there is evidence that the Arctic Icecaps are melting, quickly!

Who is trying to make a positive difference in our Canadian Arctic?  Who is getting involved?

Person 1:  Coke.  ”You know Coca Cola”….  No. Really…along with the World Wildlife Fund “WWF”!

Person 2:  YES!!!

When it is about Polar Bears, Coke loves these powerful bears!  Polar Bears have been their Christmas Symbol since 1993, why wouldn’t they want to help save them!  This large corporation has recently teamed up with the WWF to help save the Arctic and the Polar Bear. You can get involved too, you see, Coke will match your donations!  Any money we donate as civilians in Canada and the USA, up to 1 million dollars until March 15, 2012 will be matched!

This plan to help Polar Bears didn’t just happen over night.  Coke and WWF have been working on raising money to help these beautiful creatures “because turning our back was not an option.”  Over the past five years with civilians helping, Coke has managed to raise 2 million in contributions towards Polar Bear Conservation. This holiday season look for a coke can, I kid you not, Coke has opted to turn their Red cans White to bring awareness to this very important cause, go Coca Cola go! With the help of the WWF, Coke is even tracking 5 Polar Bears. Why? So scientists along with researchers can start to understand how Polar Bears live in their natural habitat and to better understand this enormous bear’s migration paths.
