Last week GYMKHANA FIVE, Urban Playground was released on youtube. This video By DC Shoes featuring Ken Block, hit viral nirvana almost immediately with over 2 million views a day.
Being a car guy, I love videos like this. They’re beautifully shot, drawing you in and demonstrating the amazing collaboration between man and machine. This video inspired me to bring up the question, “why haven’t electric cars haven’t been used for racing?” Electric motorcycles have seen race days, but cars haven’t.
With all Torque at 0 RPM, an EV Gymkana would be perfect. Gymkana racing is all about acceleration which electric cars have. I would love to see an electric car launch into the world with viral success. Which car company is up for the challenge?
