Walking to work just wasn’t the same today. The toss-the-hoop fellow waved and crooned. “Come on over and play. You know you want to!” Vendors were setting up displays a little anxiously. Distracted, one woman nearly stumbled over some incautiously placed boxes. An old dog decided he didn’t like all the commotion and sat down, apparently permanently, at a streetlight. The juice and brewery vendors were laughing, girl friends watching attentively. “What’s happening, Mum?” a little boy asked. “It’s a party!” she replied. “We’re going to a party!” the little fellow chirped.
Sure enough, a parade of happy people coast past our Essentia showroom. Some stop to check out our natural memory foam. It’s a T-shirt, jeans, and ball-cap crowd. Our neighbours wander in with some salsa and chips. Our Brazilian station goes a little quiet, so we switch over to vintage jazz. It fits the mood of the crowd.
Kensington Sun & Salsa Festival – happening all day! Come on down and enjoy the fun. Meet wild horse photographer, Larry Semchuk, in our Essentia showroom. As for me, I think I’ll dash across the street for some roasted corn…
