What’s the fastest you’ve ever run? Unless you’re in the Olympics, it was probably less than 20mph. Now imagine going over 3 times that speed. Cheetah’s are the fastest land mammal, capable of 0-62 mph in 3 seconds with 75mph bursts. Which means it can out accelerate a Ferrari and overtake somebody going the speed limit on the freeway.
Recently machine has tried to challenge nature, and epically lost. Although the robot dominated the previous record of 13.1mph, by about 5mph, it still didn’t come close to the 75mph a regular cheetah can run.
This should provide a valuable lesson to all, nature shouldn’t be challenged, when it is nothing good comes out of it.
