If you haven’t seen the pictures in the news or on Facebook, the space shuttle “ Endeavour made its journey across the country to retire in Los Angeles. The space shuttle made the journey on the back of a Boeing 747 and was made a spectacle as it took victory laps around LA.
The shuttle made several low passes, allowing everyone to admire this magnificent piece of engineering and history. The amazing sight was captured by thousands around the county; with pictures ending up on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
With a whopping 25 missions under its belt, the Endeavor deserves its retirement in the Los Angeles Science Center. I cannot wait to stop by and take a closer look at the machine that logged 123 million miles in space.
