With all of the news about heavy metals in our make-up of late, products that are natural are ‘just’ so much more appealing. Why put harmful chemicals and who knows what on your skin, when you have a choice.
As well, after reading “Not Just a Pretty Face,” where I learned that the UK regulators for the make up industry are much more thorough. As well as, they are less easily swayed to allow harmful chemicals into their make up products compared to our North American Regulators. Well, simply put, I’m now looking for different options in our system.

Yesterday was a fabulous day! I had a lot of fun working at Essentia. Why? I helped bring awareness to our Greater Vancouver Food Bank Silent Auction Event on the evening of November 24, 2011, that we are co-hosting, and I did a little shopping at Moule and some other trendy stores on west 4th Avenue (after work)!
My favorite find yesterday was at Moule where I found this amazing Lip Conditioner by Ilia called Shell Shock. It tints my lips a rose colored pink tone and it is super moisturizing with a little shine!
The product is a bit pricey, yet you are paying for a quality item that you will use a lot.
