Seventh Generation Swears off Tar Sands Oil

Popular eco-friendly manufacturer Seventh Generation has joined forces with the nonprofit environmental organization ForestEthics to help fight the development of the Enbridge tar sand pipeline on Canada’s west coast. According to the Seventh Generation blog, the company will not only be joining the growing protest of the pipeline but will also examine its own supply chain to minimize the amount of fuel being sourced from the Canadian tar sands that is used to transport its products.
