Famous Beach artist Elizabeth Berry showcasing art work all month!

This month Essentia has the pleasure of showcasing the work of long time Beach resident Elizabeth Berry. She is a very well known and respected painter using the mediums of oils and water colours to complete her beautiful work.

She will be having a meet and greet/opening on Sunday March 11. Feel free to come and meet Elizabeth and take in her work as well as some light refreshments. Have a chat and enjoy the day. Have a lay down on one of our fabulous all natural memory foam mattresses while you are here to.

However, keep in mind that between her beautiful paintings and the most comfortable mattresses you have ever tried it may be tough for you to leave.

She will be here to meet and chat with everyone from 2pm-5pm. Hope to see you here.

Black Friday in Canada!

I have noticed for the past few years the increasing number of Black Friday sales as well as the attention the day is getting across Canada.

It makes sense considering our dollar has been close to parity with the US dollar. It should make a lot of people think twice about crossing the border this weekend for those crazy American discounts, not to mention those huge line-ups at the border crossing and the money you’ll be spending on fuel.

Come and Help Clean Up the Shoreline

The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup is being hosted this weekend by Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots at Cherry Beach/Clark Beach Park. The event is taking place on Friday September 16.

Of course the main reason for going is to help clean up the beach and keep our city beautiful but there will also be speakers and activities to take part in. Come on down to Cherry Beach this Friday and lend a hand.

Jane Gooddall’s Roots and Shoots is all about positive change involving the environment, animals and communities. Roots and Shoots is in over 100 countries joining all sorts of people together with one common goal ‘make our world a better place.’

Wild Earth Bakery and Cafe Gluten free, nut free and Diabetic cafe and bakery located in the Beach area in Toronto, Ontario.
