Over a year has passed since the launch of the Water<Less denim line by Levi’s, which allowed the company to reduce their water consumption on average by 28% per pair of jeans (some styles boasted 96% drop in water use). This week Levi’s unveiled Waste<Less, their new sustainable denim line.
Set to launch in January this collection will incorporate post-consumer waste, particularly recycled plastic bottles and food trays. The goal here is to utilize over 3.5 million recycled bottles, which comes out at roughly 8 bottles per each pair.
Way to go Levi’s!
