Waterless ecoUrinal to Save Water

Using the bathroom is probably more wasteful then you think. Flushing water isn’t sustainable and wastes lots of water and energy.  Rubbermaid Commercial Products is releasing a new waterless bathroom product called the ecoUrinal which could save facilities an average of 40,000 gallons of water per year.

Saving water with urinals is no new idea, urinals themselves use very little water; howver, EcoUrinal has eliminated the need for water at all. This new innovation is a breakthrough in restroom sustainability. Moreover because no water is used, the need for flushing is removed. This allows the user to have less contact with the urinal and have cleaner bathroom experience.

The Rubbermaid ecoUrinal uses a unique enzyme cartridge that lasts 10 years and replaces standard urinal pucks. These enzyme tablets kill the odor, and also keep the drain lines clear. This is great, because this process eliminates the use of harsh chemical drain cleaners.
